ST Luke’s Hospice want people in Cheshire to walk across scorching 800°F wood embers to raise money for patients.
The Firewalk will take place on November 28 from 5pm at Total Fitness in Crewe.
It costs £25 and those taking part must raise at least £150 in sponsorship.
Krysia Rose, from Winsford, has signed up for a second year. The mother-of-two said: “Walking over the hot coals felt empowering and I still can’t believe I did it.
“When I finished I just felt invincible and I can’t wait to do it again this year.”
Those brave enough to take part will complete a two hour motivational training session provided by Time4Change Firewalk Transformations.
Participants will then walk barefoot for 15ft over the red-hot wood embers.
The Firewalk is an opportunity to make a difference to other people’s lives and challenge yourself.
Since 2013 The Firewalk has raised £20,000 for the hospice, which needs £8,600 a day to continue to provide its vital services.
St Luke’s Hospice provides care free of charge to patients who are suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses, and their family members who are affected.
