THE South Cheshire Branch of CAMRA - The Campaign for Real Ale - is holding its fourth Rail-Ale festival at the Crewe Heritage Centre in Vernon Way, which is behind Tesco Extra.
More than 60 beers and ciders from Cheshire, Staffordshire and surrounding counties will be available.
The festival starts on Friday, September 9 at 12noon and runs until 3pm on Sunday, September 11.
At all sessions food will be available, and children are very welcome until 6pm with responsible adult care.
Free soft drinks will be available for children and designated drivers.
On the Saturday the Heritage Centre Miniature Railway will be in operation. During daylight hours the Heritage centre rail and transport exhibits will be open.
Sit and enjoy a beer or cider on the APT watching the west coast mainline trains go by.
This year’s charity is CLICS Sargent, which offers support and care for young people dealing with cancer.
The festival runs from 12noon until 11pm on the Friday, with live music from Baxter, from 11am until 11pm on the Saturday and 12 noon until 3pm on the Sunday.
Entry on Friday and Saturday is £3 (CAMRA members pay £1), and entry is free on Sunday.
A special beer festival glass can be purchased or hired for £2 (refundable) and drink tokens are purchased on entry or from the CAMRA stall, no cash bars.
