THE Crewe Liberal Club Open League Premier Division Dominoes pacemakers Kings Arms A beat Nantwich Road ASLEF 6-2.

They are now two points ahead of Cosey Club who beat Commercial 5-3.

Cheshire Cheese gained their first win, 5-3 at Pioneers A, the latter now four points off the pace.

Division One Dominoes top four teams met, the results causing a major reshuffle.

Pioneers A still lead despite losing their unbeaten tag in a 5-3 defeat at third placed Broughton Arms. White Lion A’s 6-2 win at Hop Pole A lifted them to second spot and demoting the Pole to fifth.

All Division Two Dominoes teams scored 3, 4 or 5 points, with leaders Amalgamated B forfeiting their 100% record when held to a draw at third placed Hawk, and second placed Bridge C suffering similarly at the hands of draw specialists The Imp.

Division 3 Dominoes top two swapped places after Liberal’s draw with Coppenhall Club and Flying Lady B’s 5-3 won over Cheshire Cheese, both recovering well to overturn three game deficits.

Division 4 Dominoes pacemakers Nags Head beat hosts Rising Sun B 6-2 to move one point ahead of White Lion who beat Duke of Bridgewater B 5-3. Brunel Arms C won 5-3 at Prince of Wales A, but may regret taking their foot off when they were 5-0 up.

Division 5 Dominoes top two now share top spot after both suffered setbacks, leaders Dishers A losing 6-2 to third placed Coach & Horses, now just one point behind, and Prince of Wales D falling 5-3 to Foresters Arms B.
