SYDNEY shot down Horseshoe and are on the move.

They climbed to second spot in Crewe Liberal Club Open Darts League Division Two - two points behind leaders The Imp - after a 7-1 trouncing of Horseshoe.

Players in form for Sydney were Rob Paine, 15 darts and a 180, and Joe Woodwood, 21 darts, while Martin Patrick was in form for Horshoe with a 180.

In Division Four, Prince of Wales A’s 8-0 whitewash of Duke of Bridgewater B retains their 100 percent record and puts them a massive 19 points clear of Duke of Bridgewater C, while Duke B are firmly routed to the bottom.

Hop Pole move into top spot in Division Five darts after a 5-3 win at Dishers A and are now two points ahead of Prince of Wales D.

In Division Two of the dominoes section, Horseshoe’s 7-1 thrashing of Sydney lifts them into fifth place well in touch with the leaders as five points cover the top-eight teams.

In Division Four dominoes, Prince of Wales A beat Duke of Bridgewate B 5-3 which moves them into third spot level with Dishers A.

The draw between Dishers A and Hop Pole B puts Dishers A top of Division Five a point ahead of Prince of Wales D, with Hop Pole B third.
