CREWE Liberal Club Open League Premier Division dominoes leaders Delamere Arms retain a four-point advantage after scrambling a draw with Nantwich Road ASLEF.

They did so while new challengers Cosey Club were winning 5-3 across the road at Pioneers A. Kings A are demoted to third on matches won after a draw at Cheshire Cheese.

Division One sees Pioneers B regaining top spot despite losing 5-3 at Oddfellows Club due to White Lion A’s bye week dropping them to second, with Hop Pole A renewing their challenge by moving up to third on the strength of a 5-3 win at Flying Lady A.

Division Two is still very competitive with Express taking their turn to lead despite letting slip a 4-1 lead in their draw at Amalgamated B, who climb to second on matches won from Hawk, who drew at Horse Shoe.

The Bridge derby clash saw the A team overturn a 3-0 deficit to beat their C team 5-3.

Division Three pacemakers Liberal Club’s 5-3 win at bottom placed Cheshire Cheese takes them five points clear of Vine B, beaten 6-2 by Nantwich Road B.

The other three matches were drawn in another very close section where six points cover all teams except the leaders.

Division Four's top two teams clashed, Brunel C’s 5-3 win putting them three points clear and demoting White Lion to third, being overtaken by Dishers Club B, who beat Prince of Wales A 5-3.

Division Five's top two also met, with Dishers Club A taking over at the top after a 6-2 double win at Prince of Wales D, who are demoted to third as a result of Hop Pole B’s 6-2 defeat of Foresters Arms B that keeps them two points off the pace.
