Kings Arms A beat Commercial 5-3 to regain top spot, with Cosey hanging onto second spot despite being held to a draw by bottom placed West End LMR B.

Division One has Broughton Arms back on top for the first time since week three, albeit on results with Pioneers Club B.

The Broughton demolished lowly Flying Lady A 6-2 to move onto the same points mark as the Pi’s B who suffered a double 6-2 drubbing by Brunel Arms A, who move up to third place, although the top six teams are covered by just two points.

Division Two leaders Express overturned a 3-1 deficit to draw with visitors Horse Shoe and are now just one point ahead of Amalgamated B, 5-3 winners ay Sydney Arms. Third placed Hawk were beaten 5-3 by a depleted four player Bridge C team. Seven points cover all but bottom team Sydney Arms.

Division Three toppers Liberal Club soon found themselves 3-1 down to visitors Swan & Chequers, but rallied to scramble the draw that keeps them five points clear of Vine B, who let slip a 3-0 lead in their draw at Coppenhall Club.

The Vine head eight teams covered by four points, including Kings Arms B and Willaston Club who hit respective hosts Nantwich Road B and Flying Lady B for six apiece to climb three places to third and fourth spots.

Division Four pacemakers Brunel Arms C faced an uphill battle when going 4-0 down to West Street rivals Prince of Wales A, but their endeavours were rewarded by a hard earned draw.

Main rivals Dishers Club B won 5-3 at Duke of Bridgewater B to move closer with Rising Sun B taking over third place from White Lion after beating them 5-3. Five points cover the top six teams.

Division Five has new leaders in Hop Pole B who let slip a 3-0 lead in their draw at third placed Prince of Wales D. Deposed leaders Dishers Club B had a bye, so drop to second two points behind the leaders but now with a match in hand.

The clash of bottom pair Coach & Horses and Foresters Arms B also ended all square.
