IN the Crewe Oddies Club Open League two darts champions have already been decided; Horseshoe are Division One champions and Brunel B Division Three champions.

The remaining darts divisions and all dominoes divisions will be decided over the next two weeks.

In Premiership darts Westend Lmr B maintain their lead at the top with a 6-2 victory at Vine A thanks to Patrick Lynskey with a 15 dart leg,Chris Gibson 18 darts with a 180 and 106 checkouts from Aaron Ayres and Patrick Lynskey and Carl Dennell with a 103 finish.

Vine's Howard Bateman was also on the mark with a 180 maximum.

Pioneers A held on to second place with a 6-2 win at the Oddies helped by180s from John Cooper and Tony Richardson who also hit a 120 checkout. Dave Coyne responded for the Oddies with a 101 checkout.

Other top arrows were produced by Jordon Bradley(Brunel A),Tom Kelly(Eight Farmers),Wayne Patton(Kings A),Paul Ralphs(Nantwich Rd Aslef) who all hit 17 darters, Clive Lucking(Eight Farmers) 18 darts, Andy Pitt(Kings A) 20 darts,Stewart Bennett(Eight Farmers) hit a 180.

In Division One darts Simon Phillips, 16 darts, and Martin Patrick, 18 darts, hit top form to assist Horseshoe to a 7-1 victory over Pioneers B which ensures that with a 17-point lead and only two games left that they are Division One champions.

The Imp remain in second place after being held to a draw by Broughton, closely followed by Hop Pole A who are one point adrift after losing a 3-1 lead in a 5-3 defeat at Cheshire Cheese(W’lock). who are now only a further point behind.

Other top darts performances in Division One were Paul Sheehan(Hop Pole A) 18 and 19 darts,Dave Yates(Hop Pole A) 19 darts, Peter Doyle(White Lion F/Lane) 114 checkout and a 180 maximum.

Willaston Club are still the leaders in Division Two darts following a 7-1 trouncing of bottom team Captain Webb for whom Reggie Cooper was the only winner saving the whitewash. Paul Goodwin 17 darts with a 100 checkout and Kev Reade were Willaston’s top performers.

Second placed Amalgamated B also had a 7-1 victory over Woodside for whom Mark Broomhall saved the white wash.

Rob Paine with a 18 dart leg and Steve Ross with a 180 were on form for Sydney who remain third after a 4-4 draw with Hawk but are way off the pace.

Brunel B ‘s 7-1 thrashing of Vine B gives them a 21 point lead at the top of Division Three darts and confirms them as division three champions with two games to go.

Lyndon Cartwright, Mel Roberts and Ben Davies with 18 dart legs were Brunel’s star men.

Kings B and Cheshire Cheese(Shav) are fighting it out for runners-up with Kings B having a one point advantage after a 6-2 win against Swan & Chequers while Cheshire Cheese (Shav) could only manage a 5-3 victory over White Lion (Copp). Tom Knibbs hit a 20 darter for Cheshire Cheese(Shav).

Division four pace-setters Duke Of Bridgewater B increased their lead to seven points following a 6-2 success at Dishers A.

Nags Head A are now third after beating Duke C 6-2 four points behind second placed Brunel C.The Nags Head’s Andy Curren hit 18 darts and Sean Morrey a 180 maximum.

In Premier Dominoes Cosey 7-1 winners at the Holly Bush are the new leaders with a one point advantage over Westend Lmr B who lost 5-3 to Vine A with Kings A in third spot after being held to a draw by Nantwich Rd Aslef.

Current Division One dominoes leaders Nantwich Road A were held to a draw by Flying Lady A with second placed Horseshoe reducing the deficit to three points following a 5-3 victory against Pioneers B.

Hop Pole A leap into joint second after beating Cheshire Cheese(W’lock) 6-2, Broughton are a further two points adrift after a 5-3 win at the Imp.

Woodside hold onto the lead in Division Two dominoes despite going down 5-3 to Amalgamated B but the lead is now only three points after second placed Hawk won 6-2 at bottom side Sydney.Willaston Club’s 6-2 win at second bottom Captain Webb enables them to leap-frog Mals B into third.

The Division Three dominoes leaders White Lion(Copp) increased their lead to five points after a 5-3 victory at Cheshire Cheese(Shav),Vine B jump into second with a 6-2 win at Brunel B three points ahead of Swan & Chequers who were held to a draw by Kings B.

In Division Four dominoes the top two positions remain unchanged as leaders Dishers B and Brunel C had already played their week 16 game.

Coach & Horses and Nags Head A are their nearest rivals despite losing 5-3 to respective opponents Hop Pole B and Duke of Bridgewater C.

Bottom team Foresters B registered only their second win of the season beating British Lion 5-3 but still remain bottom.
