CURRENT pacemakers in all five darts sections of the Oddies Club Open League remained in situ.

The Premier Division top trio all returned big wins, with leaders West End LMR B hitting seven against Eight Farmers A, distant second placed Pioneers Club A hitting the Oddies for six and third placed Willaston Club now only five points adrift and with a match in hand after walloping Alberts Corner A 7-1.

Top marksman was LMR B’s consistent Patrick Lynskey, who won in 15 and 18 darts and also fired a couple of 180s.

He also joined forces with Danny Ayres for a 36 dart pairs win.

Mark Tirrell (Pioneers A) hit a 15 darter and 100 and 101 checkouts, Danny Ayres (LMR B) won in 17 and 18, while Nick Rathbone (Shoe), Dave Arrowsmith (Cosey) and Rob Caine (Oddies) fired single 18 darters.

Bobby Baynham (Cosey) won with 18 and 19 darters and Aaron Ayres (LMR B), John Speed (Farmers A) and Lee Moffat (Willaston) hit 18 darters, Moffat including a 180 in his.

Farmers A's only winner Ben Davies hit a 19 dart leg, while Dave Wood (Cosey) and Jamie Clorley (Willaston) blasted respective 124 and 107 checkouts.

Maximum 180s were registered by Clive Lucking (Willaston), Cliff Williams (Shoe), Rob Arrowsmith (Vine A), Broughton Arms trio Stuart Gilligan, Andrea Hunt and Dane Smith, Chris Townsend (LMR B) and Pete Boughey (Pioneers A).

Division One toppers Amalgamated B remain 100 percent after trouncing Hop Pole A 7-1, with James Nolan staving off the whitewash.

Challengers Nantwich Road ASLEF are now just two points behind after whitewashing Amalgamated A.

Third placed Cheshire Cheese are now 12 points off the pace after drawing at Pioneers Club B, but have a match in hand.

Rocky Snelson (ASLEF) and Darren Cooper (Crown) both ended 18 dart legs with 116 finishes, only difference being Cooper was the Crown's sole loser!

Rob Williams (Amalgamated B) hit a 19 dart leg, teammates Paul Jones and Rich Sharp along with Mark Woolrich (Amalgamated A) and Craig Jepson (Cheese) all fired 180s, with Jepson’s teammate Craig Smith hitting a 171 high score.

Division Two top quartet met, with pacemakers Raven now seven points clear after beating White Lion 6-2, but have played one match more than second placed Bridge A, who overturned a 4-1 deficit to draw with fourth placed Rising Sun.

John Knibbs (Raven), Dave Morris (Coppenhall Club) and Jamie Hawkins (Bridge A) all fired 19 dart legs, Hawkins including a 180 in his.

Dougy Lightfoot (Lady A) hit a 119 finish and maximum 180s were fired by Steve Dooley (Raven) and Chris Spencer (Bridge C).

Division Three in-form leaders Swan & Chequers hammered Flying Lady B 7-1 to take a huge 14 points lead, Katrina Butters' win preventing the Lady from being whitewashed.

Second placed Nags Head A scrambled a draw at Vine B and are now eight points ahead of main challengers Duke of Bridgewater B, beaten 5-3 at White Lion.

Marcin Szablinski (Swan) bombed a 17 dart leg, Gavin Day (Nag A) ended his 18 darter with a 110 checkout and Bob Shephard (Vine B) fired a 180.

Division Four toppers Captain Webb, now holders of a 20 points lead, demoted Duke of Bridgewater C to third by beating them 5-3, with West End Band A retaking second place with an emphatic 7-1 defeat of bottom placed Hop Pole B, who had landlord Russell Halden to thank for preventing a whitewash.
