NANTWICH wheelchair racer Andrew Small is celebrating his first Paralympic medal after he won bronze in Rio.
The 23-year-old was just edged out for silver in the T33 100m race by fellow Team GB athlete Toby Gold, with Kuwait’s Ahmad Almutairi taking home the gold medal.
Another Team GB athlete, Dan Bramhall, finished just behind Small in fourth.
Small also won bronze at the IPC European Championships in Italy in June.
